The Story Behind the Music

Charlotte de Witte has shared the creative inspirations behind her newest work. About A Prayer For The Dancefloor, she explains:

“This track captures the whole philosophy of the album. With lyrics written and spoken by Conduit, whom I met on the Williamsburg Bridge in 2024, it began a collaboration that culminated in me performing on that same bridge in 2025.”

For Malina, de Witte adds:

“Made with Bulgarian vocals, it perfectly combines acid textures with emotional depth. It’s a track I love performing, and I’m thrilled it’s finally being released.”

Both tracks showcase her signature blend of hypnotic techno rhythms, acid textures, and emotionally resonant vocals, reflecting the depth and versatility that have become hallmarks of her work.

The deluxe release sets the stage for her 2026 global tour, where she will bring these tracks to life in some of the world’s most iconic electronic music venues. With Malina and A Prayer For The Dancefloor, de Witte continues to cement her place at the forefront of contemporary techno music.
