The anniversary edition of UNTOLD Festival—aptly named UNTOLD X—exploded into life on Thursday, August 7, welcoming 110,000+ fans from across 100+ countries to Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In true UNTOLD fashion, the mainstage became a portal into another dimension, where music history was both celebrated and rewritten.
Don Diablo’s World-Premiere Spectacle
Dutch future house titan Don Diablo delivered a world-exclusive show created only for UNTOLD X. Designing his own lights, visuals, and even booth placement—center-stage on the catwalk—Don kept his set intimate yet electrifying. Fans were treated to unreleased tracks and signature high-energy anthems, cementing his place as one of the festival’s most forward-thinking performers.
Tiësto: Generations United
Tiësto returned for a special extended set, seamlessly weaving his iconic classics like Traffic and Silence with today’s biggest mainstage hits. His set was more than music—it was a multigenerational time machine, amplified by next-level visual production that danced between nostalgia and present-day euphoria.
Tujamo: The ‘Clujamo’ Moment
From the very first UNTOLD in 2015 to the present day, Tujamo has been part of the festival’s DNA. For the anniversary, the German hitmaker brought a set custom-built for UNTOLD X, launching into high-voltage drops that had tens of thousands of hands in the air from the first beat.
But it was his emotional Avicii tribute that hit the hardest. As the crowd swayed under a blanket of lights, memories of UNTOLD’s first edition and its headliner, the late Avicii, filled the air. Tujamo then lit up the mainstage with “CLUJAMO”, a heartfelt nod to his Romanian fans—a simple wordplay, powerful in meaning.
