One of Europe’s biggest electronic music festivals, UNTOLD, is offering aspiring DJs a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: the chance to perform on the main stage at the festival’s 10th anniversary edition in 2025.
Through its ‘Untold Creators by Visa’ initiative, the festival is inviting emerging DJs and creative minds to participate in a multi-stage competition that could place them alongside Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Fisher, and other global icons of the dance music scene.
From Bedroom to Big Stage
The competition is free to enter and is open to everyone. Whether you’re a bedroom DJ, a rising performer, or just passionate about electronic music, this is your moment.
Participants can sign up online, after which 20 applicants will be selected to move forward through a five-stage process designed to challenge their skills, creativity, and star potential.
The Journey to the Spotlight
Here’s how the selection process breaks down:
- June 3–5: Chosen applicants will attend exclusive DJ workshops at DJSUPERSTORE in Bucharest, where they’ll be mentored by top professionals.
- June 9: Each participant must craft and share a unique DJ mix on social media for their first individual challenge.
- June 10–15: The public voting phase begins. Fans and judges will vote for their favorite mixes, selecting five finalists.
- A final challenge follows, culminating in the announcement of the winner on July 15.
- The grand prize? A slot on the main stage at UNTOLD Festival 2025—in front of tens of thousands of fans.
Not a DJ? No Problem
The Untold Creators by Visa program isn’t limited to DJs. Aspiring music producers, digital creators, and event planners are also invited to take part.
Each creative category follows a similar competition structure, with winners earning the chance to work behind the scenes during the 2025 edition of UNTOLD—gaining real-world experience at one of the world’s most spectacular festivals.
