Ward Andrews isn’t interested in fitting into neat boxes. His music blends progressive house, melodic techno, and cinematic storytelling—creating experiences meant for both the dancefloor and introspective moments.

Raised on 70s disco, 80s synthpop, and 90s house, Ward’s sound is deeply nostalgic yet futuristic. His recent single, ‘Future Memories’, is the first from his upcoming debut EP, ‘The Decoration of Time’, dropping in May 2025.
“I’m not here to fit into neat genre boxes. I’m here to evoke emotion and soundtrack powerful human experiences.”
The Sound of Future Memories
Released ahead of the EP, ‘Future Memories’ is a long-form, emotionally rich track. Built for DJs and dreamers alike, it merges cinematic energy with subtle callbacks to vintage gaming soundtracks from Konami and Sega.
“It’s about living a moment so vividly that you already know it will stay with you forever.”
The response? Overwhelmingly positive. Fans use it for deep focus, night drives, and even as a life score. It’s a multi-layered journey, and it’s only the beginning.
EP Preview: The Decoration of Time
Set for release in May, ‘The Decoration of Time’ is Ward’s first full EP. Though ‘Future Memories’ is his fifth release, this marks the first chapter of a longer-form project.
The title reflects a deeper philosophy: Time is inevitable—but how we mark it is up to us. Ward wants to decorate time with emotion, storytelling, and music that becomes part of our lived memories.
“Music enhances our timeline. I want these tracks to live in people’s moments.”
Creation Park: Radio for Explorers
Ward also hosts Creation Park Radio on Insomniac Radio—airing the first Tuesday of each month. The concept? A space of creative freedom and musical discovery.
“Most of the tracks I play are first-time listens. It’s about pushing boundaries.”
On SoundCloud, the Creation Park Mix Series offers his more curated, performance-style sets.
From Pandemic to Piano
Ward’s journey into production began during the pandemic. Inspired by a slower pace of life and newfound time, he taught himself piano via YouTube and dove deep into music theory.
His creative path runs alongside a 20-year career in UX design, where he also teaches entrepreneurship at Arizona State University. These diverse experiences feed into his layered, intentional musical style.
“Music was always there for me. I just finally made space to let it out.”
Design, Family, and Football
Outside the studio, Ward is a huge fan of the NBA, Premier League, and exploring Arizona’s landscapes with his family. His love of design, travel, and education shapes the emotional richness of his tracks.
On the Horizon
Ward is just getting started. After ‘The Decoration of Time’, expect two more singles this summer via Vivifier Deep V in London. Festival and club appearances are also in the works.
“Every track I make is designed to lift, heal, and move people.”
