U.V (Yuval Tevel) and Berko (Shai Berkovich)
Some collaborations are born out of strategy — others out of pure chemistry. For U.V (Yuval Tevel) and Berko (Shai Berkovich), their latest release with Cafe De Anatolia belongs to the latter. What started as an unplanned jam session with long-time friend Grotes quickly transformed into a piece of music that bridges cultures, emotions, and dancefloors around the world.
Music as a Lifeline
Both artists carry stories where music wasn’t just passion, but survival.
For U.V., an injury in 2020 forced him off stage, silencing his career as a DJ — but awakening his voice as a producer. “I decided it was time to create music that tells my story,” he says. That decision turned hardship into inspiration, fueling his journey from Spanish beach parties to Brazil’s legendary Floripa Carnival.
For Berko, music’s role was even more literal. A severe asthma attack nearly changed his childhood, but once he started playing saxophone, the attacks stopped completely. “In some weird way, music saved my life,” he reflects. Today, he infuses every track with that same breath — sax, zurna, flute — bringing human warmth to electronic soundscapes.
Three Voices, One Track
The new release carries fingerprints from all three contributors. U.V laid down the progressive backbone, Grotes shaped its vocal-driven flow, and Berko wove in oriental melodies. Together, they created a track that is modern yet ancient, digital yet organic — a cultural tapestry of rhythm and emotion.
The Café De Anatolia Connection
The collaboration with Café De Anatolia was more than a label signing — it was a natural home for their sound. Known for weaving global sounds into electronic landscapes, Cafe De Anatolia gave U.V and Berko the platform to push boundaries, experiment boldly, and reach audiences across continents.
What Comes Next
Both artists see this release not as a peak, but a beginning. U.V is preparing a string of releases that fuse storytelling with dancefloor power. Berko is exploring collaborations where live instruments meet digital textures in new, unexpected ways.
Their message is simple: music is more than entertainment — it’s survival, healing, and human connection. And with Cafe De Anatolia, they’ve found the perfect stage to share that message with the world.
