Fred again.. Confirmed for the GTA 6 Soundtrack Alongside Travis Scott and Keith Richards

Fred again.. has officially been confirmed as one of the artists featured on the soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto 6, joining an eclectic lineup that includes Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Future, Metro Boomin and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.

The announcement arrived through a coordinated wave of social media posts from the artists, offering the first major confirmation of the game’s musical roster.

Fred again.. Joins GTA 6’s Star-Studded Soundtrack

Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive had kept the full soundtrack under wraps, despite giving fans a glimpse of several artists in the game’s 26-minute Extended Look trailer.

That earlier preview featured music from electronic artists including Elderbrook, Bob Moses, Aluna and Jayda G. The latest rollout, however, confirmed a much wider group of contributors.

Alongside Fred again.., the newly revealed names include:

  • Keith Richards
  • Travis Scott
  • PinkPantheress
  • Future
  • Morgan Wallen
  • Rauw Alejandro
  • CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso
  • Yung Lean
  • Metro Boomin

Each artist shared a cropped screenshot from GTA 6, although the images appeared to feature different in-game details rather than a unified visual campaign.

Fred again.. and PinkPantheress both posted images showing a yacht, while Travis Scott shared a high heel balanced on a pole and Future revealed a sports car.

Rockstar Expands Its GTA 6 Promotion

The unconventional announcement appears to form part of a broader promotional strategy for GTA 6.

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick previously indicated that the company planned to make greater use of social media around the game’s release, moving away from some of the marketing methods used for earlier Grand Theft Auto titles.

The staggered artist announcements have added another layer of anticipation around the game, allowing individual musicians to reveal their involvement while keeping the full soundtrack and wider details under wraps.

Could Another GTA 6 Trailer Be Coming?

The soundtrack news arrives just one day before Take-Two’s annual shareholder meeting webcast on 17 September.

That timing has fuelled speculation among fans that Rockstar could reveal another trailer around the same period, potentially offering a more gameplay-focused look at the highly anticipated title.

The theory follows a promotional pattern associated with previous Rockstar releases, including Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, which received major trailers several weeks before launch.

No additional trailer has been officially confirmed, however.

GTA 6 Release Date Confirmed for November 2026

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently scheduled to arrive on 19 November 2026.

The game is expected to return players to Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, with Rockstar continuing to reveal information through carefully controlled promotional campaigns.

For electronic music fans, Fred again..’s involvement adds another significant connection between contemporary dance music and one of gaming’s most influential franchises.

With artists spanning electronic music, hip-hop, pop, Latin music and rock, the confirmed lineup suggests that GTA 6’s soundtrack will continue the series’ tradition of bringing together major names from across the musical landscape.
